Call for Twinnings was launched
The Central European Initiative – Executive Secretariat (CEI-ES) is a partner of the DigitalHealthEurope project, funded under Horizon 2020, as a Coordination and Support Action providing support to the EU Communication on enabling the digital transformation of health and care, which has three priorities:
- citizens’ secure access to and sharing of health data across borders - enabling citizens to access their health data across the EU;
- better data to advance research, disease prevention and personalised health and care - allowing researchers and other professionals to pool resources (data, expertise, computing processing and storage capacities) across the EU;
- digital tools for citizen empowerment and person-centred care - using digital tools to empower people to look after their health, stimulate prevention and enable feedback and interaction between users and healthcare providers.
In the framework of our project, a Call for Twinnings was launched in June 2019 and it will be open for two months. It will make available almost € 1 million to interested organisations. The deadline for submission of tenders is set to 7 August 2019. The Call details the twinning scheme rules, conditions, and application process. Supporting templates will be provided to enable an efficient application procedure.
Participation in the twinnings is open to regional government bodies, health and care providers, or organisations that have an established contractual or other legal link to those bodies/providers. (Examples include having signed a multi-annual contract agreement or working as part of a formalised “quadruple helix” approach.)
You can find suitable twinning partners by registering at the DHE Twinning Marketplace:
With this e-mail we would like to ask you to help us disseminate our call in your country, as your citizens can benefit from this excellent twinning opportunity in the field of digital transformation of health and care, aiming at supporting large-scale deployment of digital solutions for person-centered integrated care.
